I've been using MLO for 1 year now.
I just wanted to thank you guys for the great product.

I've strayed occassionally - I've used ResultsManager and the GTD
Outlook plugin for a few days here and there -- but I have always
wound up back with MLO for my core list.

One of the reasons MLO works so well for me is that it is "bare
bones." The other tools I've used have tended to encourage tweaking
and customizing, and as a software geek, I'm happy to oblige. MLO
reinforces best practices in a way that is extremely valuable to me.

I see some of the feature requests -- ad-hoc colors, rich text
editing, etc -- and I actually get scared that you will begin to add
the type of features that make other software so distracting to a
naturally adventurous guy like me, and I will have to abandon the
software in favor of some other bare-bones product.

So far, this has not happened. Each time you release a new version,
I'm pleased to find that you have added features that make it more
usable, but not more distracting.

Anyway, thanks again for the great software.

Hi Sobko,

Congratulations on your MLO Anniversary! :-) We will do our best to
not disappoint you in the future because it IS our
motto also to "added features that make it (MLO) more usable, but not
more distracting"

Thanks!
Andrey.

Like many other MLO users, I have ADD (and so do my son and
daughter). Distractions are absolutely dangerous to folks like us, so
this philosophy of "more usable, but not more distracting" is well
accepted by me. Still, I'm bound to find the upcoming color coding
feature VERY USEFUL. I have always used color coding on my Outlook
tasks, and it helps my to NOT be distracted into looking at the entire
list when I only want to focus on a small subset of tasks. For us
visually oriented people, this will be wonderful!

I am using Outlook color coding for ages also, so do not worry it will
be well designed and implemented in MLO :)
In the same time it will not be distracted for those who do not want
to use it.

Andrey.

Color coding and advanced filtering will be really useful additions
and not too distracting I think. Can't wait!
