I quite like the idea of the Optimus Maximus

except that I think it would be better and much much cheaper to have a single
display behind all the transparent keys, not 113 little displays.

In the end, I found what makes the most difference is the angles of
all my joints (wrists, elbows, and shoulders). I actually like
keyboard trays that I can adjust so that they are very low (resting on
my thighs). As an alternative, I sit my keyboard and mouse on a thin
plank that I rest on my thighs... exactly one of the things that the
experts say that I should not do!
