hi all,

i, like duana, am interesting in improving my public speaking so am
fishing for feedback on how my data mining talk was received. any
comment is welcome, the more brutal the better.

too much / not enough for the time slot?
content too dry for what is usually presented at mxug?
complete lack of engagement with crowd?
was all just plain wrong?

I enjoyed your talk. I might normally have started with more
background on what it is all about, but mxug is a pretty smart
audience, and so maybe that was not necessary.

Cheers,
David

I wasn't there to see it, but I'm sure it was ♪ AWESOME ♫

fair call. i was thinking there was so much to cover that there was no
time for any intro!
but having said that i finished in only 10mins so my timing was
shocking anyway.

I thought you were a v good presenter, speaking clearly and at a good
pace. Slides were very clear and to the point, and very illustrative
of what you were
talking about.

Personally I would have enjoyed hearing about a few real-world usages,
but maybe that is something for another talk?
