Why? Loved the old button, hate the new one. Any way to keep the old button that actually made MX look appropriately like a media app?

Hi. New logo is good :)
To change logo try open old ver as zip and in drawable folders find old  logo image. Then put this image in new ver MX Player in drawable folders with replace.
But i don't sure work it or not.

You'd have to resign the app for that to work. That would mean Play store
updates will fail etc. There at least used to be apps to create custom
shortcuts to apps that allowed you to set the icon manually. That could
work.

In my mind, the old logo was a bit too generic so I can understand why they
switched.

I prefer the new one, how do I keep it now that they decided to switch back due to complaints?
