I have articles that have strange names...

Is there any way of hiding the article names from appearing in the
generated pdf?

Tangentially: can I configure the pdf header to display something else
than the article name?

On the collectionpage you can explicitly name the articles you include
in your pdf/book to avoid strange names

:[[ArticleNameWithAStrangeName nice display name]]

This is currently not possible.

Hi At,

You have to change this on the book/collection definition page. If
you've created the book by browsing a wiki, you first need to save the
book to a wiki page, and then edit the resulting page.

The page has got all the wiki pages that are part of the book no it,
and you can give a new name to each of the pages, in the same way as
you change the name of wiki links, i.e. change

:[[ArticleNameWithAStrangeName]]

to

:[[ArticleNameWithAStrangeName| nice display name]]

At least for printing, this will work nicely. I tried this a while
back, and found that changing the names of links like that broke the
links within the pdf document, but it's possible that this is now
fixed.

All the best,
Bjoern

Sweet, thank you.

Saving collections don't work for me at the moment, but I get the
idea...

Thanks again to both of you

Hi all, I just wanted to double check on changing page names. In the document definition, you can use this :[[ArticleNameWithAStrangeName| nice display name]] to give you a better name. However, the link generated then links to the web. However, if I use this: :[[ArticleNameWithAStrangeName]] the link then links to the relevant page in the pdf document. Has this been reported as a bug? It would be nice to change it, so that links are document internal where possible. Two more quick questions: 1. I was also wondering whether TOCs with page numbers are planned? 2. The license is a little obscure, just at the end of the document. Is it planned to have CC license badges added to the front page, or perhaps to the footer? All the best, Bjoern
