Hi all,

pdf generation seems to be temporarily broken - is anybody
experiencing the same problem? (Basically, the special page keeps
reloading, but is stuck at "0%".)

Thanks,
Bjoern

I may be experiencing the same error. This is my error message:

Warning: curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: the provided file
handle is not writable in/wiki/extensions/Collection/
Collection.body.php on line 1341

Hi J,

I haven't looked into the php error yet, but I'll do this next.
Basically the rendering process is stuck at 0%:

Rendering
Please wait while the document is being generated.
Progress: 0%
This page should automatically refresh every few seconds. If this does
not work, please press refresh button of your browser.

I've tried this on a couple of wikis with different versions of the
software (both mediawiki and collection, also tried on wikieducator),
and none of them are working (across different browsers). That makes
me think it's a server-side issue.

Would be great to have some feedback as to whether others are managing
to use the public render server. If the public render server is ok,
then I'll need to start hunting for problems locally.

Thanks!
Bjoern

No, the render server was not ok, sorry :-(

I've restarted the software, it should be working again.

We're running some older version of the software on the server which
has a known bug with hanging processes which fill up the queue from
time to time. As soon as possible (which sadly isn't right now for
technical reasons) we'll update the software on the server to put an
end to this recurring situation.

What about getting this error for a private render server that's
initiated by the mwlib.cgi?

WikiEducator is working for me. (And we use our own renderer, so it
wouldn't be related to the PediaPress server when it does fail.)
