I can meet Thursday and don't mind location either. I have to run
15-18 Saturday and was planning on doing the Chewuch loop and adding
on Upper Bear Creek if I need to, but again I'm open to location &
terrain.

would you be up for running balky hill on thurs? it is 10 miles out and back to
upper beaver creek and lots of elevation (which i need for my next race) we
could meet at the bottom at 915am. as for sat, i would be up for that run. I
need to do a little longer - but we can figure that out on thurs.
cheers!

Thanks,

i will plan on being at the bottom of balky hill at 915am. i have been
struggling with a terrible blister on the arch of my foot due to new orthodics
 - tried to run this moring and i was hobbling instead. So I will show up
tomorrow and hopefully will sort out this blister problem today....... any
suggestions ? i have tried 2nd skin and wrapping it - but it is the pressure
that hurts?

Sorry about your blister! I've had great success with Band Aid Blister
band-aids--I also use them to prevent blisters in certain shoes. Are
you still wearing your orthotics when you run? You may try running
without them; if they are hard orthotics they may be contributing to
the pressure pain. Also when I had PF pain on the bottom of my heel I
elevated it slightly with those heel gel inserts, or you could use
foam or anything soft to try and take the pressure off. You could also
try cutting out some of your insole to create a hole, so the blister
is not pressing on anything.
Hope you find something that works.

Hope you find something that works.
