The annual conference, Music and the Moving Image, encourages submissions from scholars and practitioners that explore the relationship between music, sound, and the entire universe of moving images (film, television, video games, iPod, computer, and interactive performances) through paper presentations and plenary sessions. Two keynote addresses will be presented by Karen Collins (From Pac-Man to Pop Music; Game Sound: An Introduction to the History, Theory, and Practice of Video Game Music and Sound Design) and video game composer Tom Salta (Tom Clancy's: H.A.W.X, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 & 2, Red Steel).
