The Allegheny Chapter of AMS will hold its spring meeting at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio on Saturday, April 19, 2008. Proposals for papers or other presentations should be submitted to the program chair, Professor Robert Copeland, Dept. of Music, Geneva College, 3200 College Ave., Beaver Falls, PA, 15010, not later than March 28. Abstracts of 500 words or less may be sent by ordinary mail or by email (Word, WordPerfect, .pdf, or .rtf please). E-mail rmc at geneva.edu .

Student proposals must be accompanied by a written assurance from their advisor or other responsible faculty member that their papers are ready for presentation at a professional meeting, and that the student will be present for a substantial portion of the meeting.
