The Packard Humanities Institute has generously made available one of Mozart's last seven operas in support of the AMS OPUS capital campaign.
The operas come in a two- or three-volume set, with full-size color facsimiles and an introductory volume. These are finely printed "bibliophile" sets (hard cover with genuine leather spines). The winner can choose from among Idomeneo, Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Le nozze di Figaro, Così fan tutte, La clemenza di Tito, Don Giovanni and Die Zauberflöte for their prize.
Raffle tickets are on sale for $5 each.
The drawing will be held Saturday 14 November at the AMS Philadelphia meeting.
You don't have to be present to win! See http://www.ams-net.org/philadelphia/raffles.php and order as many tickets as you like in support of a good cause and a chance at a beautifully-produced Mozart facsimile.
