Skidmore College invites applications for a tenure-track, Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Music. The successful candidate will have the doctorate (or ABD) in music theory or musicology, preferably with teaching experience in both areas. Primary teaching responsibilities will include required theory courses for music majors, music history surveys, advanced undergraduate seminars in the candidate's field of specialty, as well as courses for non-majors.
