Spam on google group

Hello!

As you might have noticed, there is quite a lot of spam going on the
list, since about a month or so. Apparently, all public non-moderated
google groups are affected.
I banned all the spammers, and manually erased the spams from the
archive (I hope google will implement a bulk delete, at some point...
it is particularly tedious for now).

I will try to keep on banning new spammers and keep the list archives clean.

Hi Yves,

Thanks for this. I try to do the same on other google groups too,
without much results. If it continues, we should consider approving new
membership. We shall see
