i have a linux based os. i downladed and installed everything i need
to use my ps3 controller for the nintendo 64 emulator. the ps3
controller works properly with other emulators on my computer. i just
cant get the configuration right for nintendo 64 emulator. i assign
the buttons that i want on to my controller for configuration but it
does not work in game

Try to update to 1.99.4 or newer and post the output on the console. Richard
declared 1.5 as outdated and unsupported.
In case you use wxmupen64plus or another GUI for 1.99.4+, please attach your
configuration file from $HOME/.config/mupen64plus/ and also send the terminal
output of mupen64plus.
