Hi Parth and Others from Enthought,

Can we have Enthought do an extensive Canopy tutorial for Mumbai
Python Programmers ?

Have been playing around with it for a while and I am hooked. I would
like to know more about the data visualization features.

Is it possible for you guys organize a tutorial and subsequent
hackathon after that ?. I am willing to write a mail to Prabhu sir if
needed. I think junta could really benefit from the talk.

Cheers
Ankur

Hey Ankur,

Yes we can definitely plan something out.
We will come up with a tutorial for the next mumpy meetup.

Hi,

I don't think Canopy requires a tutorial. So far as I know it is a
Python distribution optimized for scientific computing and a great
IDE.

The data analysis and visualization tools in Canopy are the same as
those in the scientific python stack - like scipy, numpy, some scikits,
pandas and the Enthought Tool Suite.

Let's have a tutorial on one of these things. That would be more beneficial.

cheers,
