"From:" address is wrong

Hello,

When I reply to an e-mail or create a new message, the "From:" address is not using my actual e-mail, instead, it is using my Linux login ID@hostname (anmar@x201) .  I have the following in my .config file:

 '(mu4e-my-email-addresses (quote ("anmar@some_mail_domain.com")))

Any help is appreciated

the address used in the From: header is taken from user-mail-address,
not from mu4e-my-email-addresses. mu4e-my-email-addresses is used to
determine which messages are to be considered as being sent by/to you
when indexing.

BTW, the documentation on mu4e-my-email-addresses says that it has been
made obsolete in the latest mu4e versions. you should use
mu4e-user-mail-address-list instead.

Thanks. That worked great. For the record, I added the following line to my .emacs:

 '(user-mail-address "Email@YourDomain")
