Remember what the pro-gun advocates were saying after the Virginia Tech killings? - "If
all students had a right to carry guns, this tragedy could have been avoided".

I wonder how many of the army soldiers at the Fort Hood army base didn't have guns?

Yeah, and now we have a Canadian Prime Minister trying to take away any advantange police
may have in knowing which of the citizens involved in police call-outs may be 'legally
armed'.

If the Harper government continues in its course to destroy the gun registry, each and
every province should establish its own registries - and then agree to share them with the
other provinces. Screw the Harper cons.

Look, the essential fact of this massacre is that the perpetrator was
a Muslim. " Islam is a armed doctrine" said a great English statesman
of the 18th century. The Fort Hood incident was an act of political
terrorism regarless of the liberal political spin that will be put on
it.

They should get rid of all the gun laws in the USA, they have over 40,000 of
them while Canada only has 1. That way they will be able to control the
population with insane rednecks flying out of control and killing each other by
the thousands every day. US gun homocides are triple what they are in
Canada and more permissive gun laws will mean that the US will finally achieve
its target of being as murderous as that Libertarian utopia Somalia.

Look at this guy, he killed 14 people with only two hand guns and it took a cop
from outside the base to bring him down!

Why should police have guns while the citizenry is naked?

MOST you ignorant idiot
Since Clinton, soldiers on base have to register and lock up personal
firearms
Otherwise firearms are only available to Military Police and at the
range

Why ?
Typically, the "legally armed" are not the problem
Were it a problem, then shootings should have INCREASED and not DECREASED in
all the States that relaxed or eliminated their carry laws in the last 30
years.

The registry did NOTHING to make anyone more secure, or even inform the
police of anything useful.
It was a big BOONDOGGLE that lined the pockets of the people who created the
whole thing.
