Bachelor is NOT the only mountain where you can ski 360 degrees. In
fact, if you try to ski 360º at Mt Bachelor, you might get stuck on a road where
you might have to walk for an hour or two to get back to the lifts.
Fortunately, there are ropes around the mountain that tell you when you need to
start traversing back. I know at least one of our club members who skied
past the rope!
But at Hoodoo, you can definitely ski 360º around the mountain, and there
is always a groomed road at the very bottom that will pick you up and carry you
pretty fast to the lifts. In other words, you can ski the WHOLE mountain
at Hoodoo, not just to some rope half way up the mountain.
One of the best homages to powder skiing I’ve seen.
If you like what you see, sign up for the Hoodoo trip, Feb. 16.
