Sun-Skiing Thursday, anyone?

Yeah, powder skiing is way over-rated, so lets go make some turns (@ Meadows) under the sun this Thursday!

I have plenty rooms in my rig if anyone wants to join me this Thursday …say the word and I will swing by Sandy McD ~7:40ish.  I promise I won’t be lazy and I will match your turns – turn for  turn!

It will be FUN!!!

SUN coming out as wheels start turning

Man, I’m so good!  All those times hanging out at Starbucks are finally paying dividends. :)

Today was another beautiful day on Hood!

Even Mr. President, accompanied by his trusted secret service agent, took time off his busy schedule to make a few turns.

Nice pictures, George!  Thanks!  That secret service agent standing next to Kurt sure looks menacing!  I wouldn’t want to mess with him. So, Kurt is safe from me!!!!  Or maybe it’s Kurt who is secretly protecting Kay.

 

But, you know, all kidding aside, I once saw a woman skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows, and she was surrounded by about 5 or 6 bodyguards, who skied with her but kept a bit of a distance.  They never talked to her or to each other, but whenever she stopped, they stopped. It felt a bit creepy!  I wouldn’t want to be a celebrity or a political figure and have to put up with that kind of protection everywhere I go.  It’s much better to be a nobody!!!!

hey George-- tried to email you yesterday but your MSN email bounces on here and I couldn't find Emilio's email that had your other email on it.  So I'll just post to the whole group.  We wanted to go but work was too busy this week to get a day off.  We hope to ski w/you soon!
