What is the most efficient way to calculate transfer points? Most
agencies like LIRR and MNR don't offer transfers.txt.
Example New haven line has multiple transfer points to the Danbury
line because there are stops for the Danbury route in expresses. I am
having to go through all and look at next departure to see if same
trip until I am at the actual tranfer point. Is there a better way?
And it's worse for LIRR.

I will send you the latest one we use at MNR.

The reason why we dont post one is that the current GTFS spec cannot route connections an transfers with the columns presented.

The file I will send has all of the GTFS columns plus direction, min transfer time, max transfer time peak, max transfer time off peak, route from and route to.

Hi all,
A revised Subway Station Entrances file has been posted at mta.info/developers.
We now have decimals for the lat/longs, the positive long was fixed, and all the division and line fields are complete.

Integration with the stop_ids will be a longer-term project, hopefully completed within a couple of months. If any developers would like to get started on that initiative, please go ahead.

Thank you,
Sarah
