Not visible additions/deletions empty lines in diff

If I add or delete line which is empty, diff show whole fragment in white; should be red or green markers

Note: I use --word-diff and --ignore-all-space

What makes you think this is Windows specific? You'll probably get
better responses by trying the upstream mailing list...

I don't understand what you expect. When I write nothing, it looks the
same regardless of whether I use a red pen or a green pen... ;-)

Supposedly the "+" sign in front of an empty line should be green (?).

In any case, this works for me: if I add an empty line to a file and
run `git diff`, I observe a green "+" in front of that empty line no
matter whether this line is located in the file.

I have color.ui set to auto.

But there is no + or - when you use --word-diff like Andrzej.
