trying to switch from cvs to git

i'm trying to import a cvs repo into a git repo using msysgit (i have zero unix experience), but calling "git-cvsimport" gives me the error message "can't exec "cvsps": no such file or directory at ...."

how can i fix it? why isn't it included in msysgit?
