Between the net version and the full version, I'd like to hear something about the differences between them...

Well, the net version requires an Internet connection as it downloads
required files from the web whereas the full version comes with
everything bundled and thus can be used offline.

I created the full version mainly for developers who want to develop Git
but who cannot access the internet freely. Originally, the only way to
clone our repositories was to use the git:// protocol (and that port is
often blocked by firewalls) and the dumb http:// protocol. Due to proxies
getting into the way, even the http:// way was not accessible enough for
many corporate developers.

I would always highly recommend the net version because it is more
up-to-date by nature: it clones the current repositories rather than
bringing a full check out from the repositories that was current when the
full installer was generated.
