Assalamu Alaikum (peace be upon you),

We have successfully made the swtich to Google Groups from Yahoo Groups. Inshallah this will ensure recieving the Weekly Digest and other emails in a timely fashion.

I also wanted to re-send the "Welcome Note" for the MSA list serv, in hopes of rekindling that fire for being part of this huge organization!!

The MSA is a student-led organization dedicated to serving the Muslim students at MSU as well as the community at large. The MSA strives to promote unity and intellectual and spiritual growth through a variety of means, including social, educational, spiritual, political, and community service activities. With these programs, we hope to increase brotherhood and sisterhood between Muslims, increase our Iman (faith) in God, bring awareness of the religion of Islam and its principles to non-Muslims, and provide an avenue for the Muslim student body to become an integral and important part of the MSU campus and greater East Lansing community.

Being the only student organization on campus dedicated to fulfilling the needs of Muslims, for many, the MSA is a home away from home. Part of our strength comes from the diversity present within the organization. With a membership consisting of people from all over the world and activities sure to spark your interest, it is our hope that Insha’Allah (God willing) you will find this MSA to be unique and special… one which we hope you become a part of!
