For those who took PA1 or PA2, did you take any tutoring classes for PA1 and PA2?

There are these PA1 and PA2 tutoring classes that they claim to help student in their studies.  Do you think one can pass PA1 and PA2 without extra help?  Your advice will be helpful.

I passed PA1 without the class. I don't see how anyone has the time to do it. The assignments are extremely time consuming. If you attend the webinars and do as many cases as you can find.....you should be good.

I actually took the tutoring classes....it is not much  what they give you in terms of knowledge (it is a helpful refresher though) but the coaching to get in line with the discipline that requires PA1 and PA2...I found the classes helpful in that sense. ...plus you get a more strict study routine and the help of the other students taking the classes. So if you are one of those people  out there that tend to lose concentration  and need an extra push to stay focus....then the tutor classes are for you!

I passed PA1 without any additional tutor. Unless you are type that really can't learn, practice, review on your own I would strongly suggest against tutoring. As others point out, assignments take a truck load of time already. Further, there are a lot of areas you need to be really familiar (IFRS, ASPE, audit management accounting, tax, at1) I think below are some keys that'll help.

Attend webinar at all cost. They do great practice and shows you areas you lack

Purchase that UFE book. It's useful to review and study with given pa gives shitty study materials.

Most important of all is practice exams. You need up learn time management and master it. I have FDs that fail because they couldn't manage time not because they don't know the stuff. Time management is really key in pa exams. You need every second of it!
