I am working on a WordPress site, and we need to find a solid jQuery
developer to help out on a specific component of the site. There will
be some interaction with data, but we are open to suggestions on what
type of database to use.

The gist of it is that we need an effect similar to
http://code.google.com/p/jquery-countdown/ only it will pull a number/
text combination from the database and display it in the number
flipper.

If this sounds remotely interesting, give me a call or email!

Thanks!

I can help you with this Toby. I don't know the details but I we could
do this with our own Wordpress table if necessary. The data could be
served with the wp_ajax ajax stuff. I've done a lot of this kind of
thing.

I do plan on being at mpls coco on Weds

Tom,

Perhaps you can help or point me in the direction of someone who can.
I'm in need of a clickable map in jquery. (Way over my head) The map
needs to highlight individual states and, on click, open a window that
lists the dealers of a product. Here's an example:
http://www.woodstone-corp.com/us-canada.htm (Though this clicks by
region) I would need one for US-Canada and Europe. Can you give me a
quote?

Tom,

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for but the methodology
that was used here might be. Also, the solution (unfortunately, it's
flash) seems to play well with WP.
