Email plugins

I was wondering if there is a plug in that allows visiters to your
site to ent er in birhtdays and anniversaries and have an automated
email reminder sent to them a few days before that event?

I've never seen this in a plugin but if you use MailChimp you can gather that information and set up the feature relatively easily. The nice thing about using MailChimp for this instead of a plugin is it's not a one-trick-pony.
