WordPress 10 Years Old...Party?

Hi everybody!

WordPress is turning 10 on May 27.  I have a proposal - Let's move our May meetup to the 27th and hold it either at a park or in a back yard to celebrate with our WordPress peeps worldwide?  (Note: There is even a hashtag! #wp10)

The WordPress foundation has even kindof-promised stickers and buttons if we can get 50 people to RSVP on Meetup.com.

I love that idea! 

I am tempted to offer up my yard (we will have a large space in back) But we close just 12 days prior so I won't be fully moved in yet. (but next year!)

But I think this sounds like a great idea. (Hopefully by then it will be warmer than 40 degrees, too) A park space with the whole covered picnic area and BBQ thing would be perfect. If you do it, I can help you organize.

Minnehaha Falls/Park is a great spot. I think you could reserve a
covered area in case of rain.

Allen Lindgren is going to look into reserving one of those spaces (and possibly some others).

John Havlik, Let's wait for the space to be reserved before organizing the 5k route.  It would be great to have the finish/start line be at the location of the party.

Totally Agree!  They need 50, Toby is probably #10....

You don't have to show up on the Holiday tail end...

but it would help our Wordpress user group if you signed up...
