Deactivation of add-ons
|
| |
I find it annoying that Firefox deactivates add-ons that are a security risk without the option for the user to reactivate them at his/her own risk. I feel patronized in a way that strongly reminds me of Microsoft practice. On one of my older computers I have chosen to stick to Windows SP1 -- I never have major problems with viruses on this computer (I have a... more »

Firefox: zoom changes page position
|
| |
I use Firefox for Windows (XP, SP3). However, I suspect this behavior is the same in all Mozilla browsers that include a zoom feature. Particularly in the middle of long pages, and especially with those that contain mostly text, changing either zoom setting (full or text) changes the relative vertical position of the page-- that is to say, the... more »

Option to erase cache in firefox 3.5
|
| |
I want the option to clear the cache back! This was present in earlier versions and still in firefox 3.0... In firefox 3.5, you can only clear recent history or do private browsing, which also does not memorize history. But I do not want to clear history, I want to reduce needed disk space and thus erase the... more »

Optional clipboard access
|
| |
Hi, I understand that having access to the clipboard content by Javascript may represent some security hazard in general. However, some HTML editors may need to check what is pasted in an editable document for any reason. In content management systems, sometimes especially developed for intranet and used by a customer who... more »

R: [SOSPETTO SPAM] The only thing about Firefox that annoys me....
|
| |
A partial solution to this problem could be the use of QuickImage addon ([link] it adds an icon to the status bar to enable/disable images. It still do an (automatic) page reload and you can't select single image to load, but I this not interferes with Captcha, because captcha does not load anyway with disabled images.... more »

The only thing about Firefox that annoys me....
|
| |
Why is there not an option for a toolbar button that with a single click will download the images for the currently viewed page? This should not refresh, just fetch and fill in the missing images (avoiding duplicated download and allowing it to work with "Captcha" web pages, refresh often resets everything).... more »

Archive enhancement
|
| |
The archive feature in TB 3.x is useful, but I would like to see it enhanced. I already filter incoming mail to various folders, e.g., one for each Yahoo! group, but some of these now contain many thousands of messages. I would like an option to archive the old messages to dated subfolders of *that* folder, rather than of the inbox itself.... more »

Drag text from a webpage so that it gets saved as a text file
|
| |
If I drag an image from Firefox to say, my Desktop, the image gets automatically saved, which is awesome. Now, how about this : If I select some text from a page and drag it to my Desktop, it gets saved as a text file automatically. However, if I select and drag over an existing text file, the text gets appended to... more »

SSL connection to Proxy Servers

I'm not talking about proxying https traffic but rather making all the connection to the proxy server through https.... more »
