I'm someone who insists on knowing what I am installing BEFORE I ok
it. When all I see is a dialog to install an update, I don't have a
warm fuzzy that it is 1) not mal-ware, 2) won't cause problems with
other programs, and 3) fixes an issue that I feel is important enough
to risk concerns 1 + 2. I would like to at least see the current
installed version and the proposed updated version. Ideally, there
would also be a link to a changelog showing the issues solved since
the currently installed version.
