"Check bookmarked websites for changes" feature

Please, return the "Check bookmarked websites for changes" feature to
Seamonkey. It *is* mentioned in SeaMonkey Help, it used to be in earlier
(1.x probably) versions, but it's absent in Seamonkey 2.17.

Sorry, but this is not possible; it was a feature of SeaMonkey 2.0.x and
earlier which used the old XPFE bookmarks system, but SeaMonkey 2.1 and
later uses Places so that it can synchronise bookmarks between different
computers, however Places does not support that function, the nearest
equivalent being Live Bookmarks (RSS feeds).

Ah, so it's not possible to manually save a bookmark file as an html file?

Last time I looked Places still supported HTML export and import. (XPFE
bookmarks used HTML as its storage format.)

It is, but it doesn't give what I was asking about: checking bookmarked
locations for updates.
