According to that discussion, yes, it's supposed to work already, and even
better than I described. But FF 19.0.2 (in W7) isn't working that way here!

Can you try it out in a new profile?
http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems#w_7-make-a-new-profile
(Or maybe one of the other solutions listed there will help you.)
