I think to avoid multiple windows while browsing Firefox created tabs, so at one place we can see multiple windows(in tabs)with no need to switch between windows.

now to access Download, Bookmarks, History or Options we still use different windows, can these items be placed at one place or on one tab similar to Add-on tab, do we really need window for above items

Regards,
Lelin

This is already planned. In-content settings has already landed (preffed
off I think), and the Downloads window has been replaced with a Downloads
overlay.

It sounds like you mean to ask for "tiled" or "cascaded" tabs. This is something you
can do (usually) with multiple 'windows" but not usually with 'tabs.'

If the interface requirement is different, it makes more sense to use
separate windows.

I like this idea. (Doesn't Chrome do something like this?)

I do not think that is a good idea. If I download something, I like to
keep an occasional eye on the progress of the download. I do not want
to have to keep switching tabs to do that. I want to stay on the same
tab to keep my place while reading a page. If the bookmarks library
became a tab, how could you drag a bookmark into it? With bookmarklets,
that is a handy way to bookmarks those.

What if you could load it in the sidebar?

But downloads do not appear in the sidebar, and I normally keep the
sidebar closed because it takes up too much room away from web pages.
That does work with bookmarks.
