Thunderbird print issue (second post)

Hi Guys & Gals, (and in betweens etc.)
Asked a week or so back; no response, so here goes again with fingers
crossed!
Lubuntu Linux 13.04 32 bit, TB 17.0.6
Whenever I print an email in TB the default page is set to US Letter.
Because of my location, I need A4.
I select A4, prints ok. Next time I go to print, US Letter is selected... more »

Tb unable to launch browser

I'm using an old version of Thunderbird (2.0.0.24), but hopefully this question is general enough that it won't matter. Default browser is Firefox 18.0.1. and the OS is Win7-32. I'm not sure if this is an OS question or a Thunderbird question, but I'm starting here.

Hi everybody,
I think thunder bird can use a style format it needs to have double spacing, font style, and font size. It would be nice to see this in thunder bird because it's professional to have double spacing on anything you type. Tell me what you think of this feature I would love to hear you back on this matter. Oh one more thing I think also it should have some headers.... more »

Disappearing emails

TB 17.06 on Win XP Pro SP3
All emails in one of my folders have suddenly disappeared. I don't think I
have caused it, but, of course, I can't be sure. All other folders appear
to be OK. The folder in my profile is showing a size of 0 KB. A backup done
on Monday shows a size of 23,716 KB. The .msf file for that folder is also... more »

How to turn off junk controls?

I've found way too many messages in my Junk folder from friends, brokers, etc. I mark them 'not junk' but that just moves them back to the inbox and seems to have no other effect. Retraining hasn't helped. I'd like to completely turn off the junk controls, but that doesn't seem possible.... more »

Changing Font Size in Folder and Thread Panes

I am running TB 17.0.6 under Windows 7 and need to increase the font size in the Folder and Thread Panes. The only instructions I can find seem to require modifications to the userChrome.css file in my profile. There is no such file there. Does 17.0.6 require something else to change those font sizes?... more »
