Maybe someone here can help with a MozBackup (v 1.4.9) problem on my XP machine. MozBackup works as intended when using the GUI interface, but I'm running into an error ("The selected user profile is corrupted. The program will exit") when I use the command line interface. Greetings! When I installed Thunderbird 2.0.0.23 on a new machine a day or two ago, I created an account called cml...@teleweb.at. So far, so good. But then I wanted to get a repository for junk, and somehow (automatically, I think), "Local folders" were created, and junk is stored there. Not that I mind.... more »

Thunderbird 2.0.0.23 running under Mandriva Linux. I imported a bunch of mail from an old KMail installation using one of the automatic tools, and while everything seemed to import OK I'm now left with a bunch of folders which I can't delete (if I try, TB prompts for confirmation, I tell it OK, and nothing happens). To: Whoever is responsible for technical support. I really didn't want to be on a "Mailing List" I just want support for Thunderbird. Do I mail a question or what? Here is/are my question(s), anyway. I found this wonderful program for the Windows world and, just having setup linux (Ubuntu 9.10) I'm wondering if there's a Linux version so I can easily transfer all my Thunderbird, Lightening and Firefox settings and files? Thanks, Tim

Dear All, Win 7 is now here. I am buying my wife a new laptop for Xmas, it will come with Win 7 64 bit home which I shall upgrade to ultimate. Unfortunately our current "main" e-mail reader programme will not run in 64 bit windows and the supplier has no plans to upgrade it. I currently have a POP account. I am contemplating using a Blackberry. The sales rep at my ISP said I may be encouraged to switch to an exchange account. Is there anything I ought to know about TB when considering the change? Bill B

Hi, I am looking for a method to import folders structure (messages) from Outlook Express. The built in import options is not good enough because after import there is a big difference between the original structure (Outlook) and the imported one (Thunderbird).
