Thunderbird forgetting password all the time

Thunderbird keeps forgetting my password! I have 5 google accounts and
two of them are always asking for my password. When I put in my password
it keeps asking for it. I know I'm using the right password because
webmail works. If I click cancel it keeps asking me for a password and
loops it for infinity (basically freezing anything I'm doing in
Thunderbird. For this email I had to write it offline because I could
not type anything when it kept asking me...). Sometimes when I click
cancel it actually stops asking me, but then says smtp.google.com failed
OR invalid credentials. What is going on here?
Mac OSX 10.5.2/C2D 2.2 + 4GB RAM
Thunderbird 2.0 + Enigmail + GnuPG 1.4.8
