The default signature switch of TB is by sending account; I am using
"signature switch 1.6.9", it switches signature by recipient, and
override TB's setting. How can I set default signature by sending
account, then select signature for special recipients?

Any of those help?

It's page says "If you need more than one signature please use Signature
Switch addon!!"

After reading "signature switch"s FAQ carefully, I have found the
solution, though not directly mentioned in FAQ. Un-tick the default
signature, and "signature switch" will not override TB's signature,
which is set by sending account; and at the same time auto-switch still
works. That has solved my problem.

I was going to suggest the addon Clippings.

In Clippings you can put templates, Addresses, parts of address, or
single words.

Each is called up from a right click menu.

I mostly send email from one account but some time it goes out as first
name, other times as my full name, other times I want my name and
address and others my wife and my name and address.

It is also convenient for filling out forms as you can have each part of
the address as a string that can be added to the form.

The nice thing once you get these strings established, the addon works
with Thunderbird and Firefox so you can access the same strings for use
in either email, webmail, forums, or the completion of online forms.

For me this gives me the most flexibility of any similar program.

I can imagine those two add-ons would be of great help for repetitive
input works. In signature selecting, however, auto-insert the proper
text is the need. Thanks for your recommendation.
