Has anybody figured a way to get rid of the Recent submenu offered when
filing mails? I personally find it confusing, which is not say some
might not find it useful ...

In case somebody who has an answer missed this, I am repeating the
question. Sorry for those who don't care.

Hi Reg,

I think you are making a confusion with SM. At least in TB 2.0.0.23,
there is no such setting (but in SM, there is). I am referring to the
File, Recent submenu when filing mails in TB. By the way, this submenu
also appears now in SM 2.0, which I regret since I find this only brings
confusion.

I believe its 'recent' menu item appears in content menu that you have
problem with. Add following chrome hack in your userChrome.css file when
Tb is closed.

/* Hide 'recent' menu item */
menu[label="Recent"] {

display: none !important;

}

Sure. I understand the confusion. I am not referring to the main File
menu , but to the File icon (which may not show if you don't customize
the tool bar). When you use the File Icon, you are offered a Recent
submenu and then, the names of your mail accounts. This is this Recent I
would like to get rid of.

Regards
