I have TB on three computers, with many POP3 accounts.

To "synch" them, I copy all files -- except for the MSF files -- in the
profile from the main machine to the other two.

But then I have to click on each folder to rebuild the MSFs.

Is there any "rebuild all MSF files" add-on or command?

Thanks.

Don't know if any such add-on exists, atleast can't find any in mozilla
server.
Btw, you can use normal file search feature that your OS provide to find
all .msf files in Tb profile folder/Mail folder. Delete all of them when
Tb is closed. Tb will build index itself when needed on next start.

Btw, compact does rebuild index and there is an extension[1] to compact
all folders at same time but folder compact is an irreversible process.

No. You need to click on a folder to get the MSF to be rebuilt.

Copy the .msf files along with all the others. :-D

I have TB on two computers, with two POP3 accounts and four
newsgroup accounts. I sync them by copying the Mail and News folders
from the main machine to the other one. If I've made any changes to
other files (such as user.js or either of the userC*.css files in the
chrome folder) I copy it/them too. By copying the folders (as
folders) the included .msf files are copied along with the folders'
other contents, and no rebuilding of .msf files is required.

You're welcome.

Ken, can you guess why I delete the MSF files before I copy the profile
folder?

that's seriously nasty.

can't you keep mail on just one and remote into it?
ultravnc or something like that.
