Get New Messages after POST?

Is there any trick that I could use to issue "Get New Messages for
Account" (Ctrl+T) immediately after each POST to a specific news server?

Most of the servers I use are what I would call "live"; the message is
available immediately after posting. At the moment I press Ctrl+T but
why go to all that effort if I can train my PC to do it for me?
The reason is so that I see my posts in context, and not the next time I
come back to the group.
