What are the "Search Folders" and why do I need them?

They seem to be empty.

Do you mean saved search or virtual folder?

I only just installed TB3 and let it import my settings and mail from OE6
and now I see, among my folders, some unfamiliar folders named:
search folder
search folder (1)
etc. to
search folder (9)

The are all empty. They are not in OE's data files.

Could they be part of the indexing that TB seems to be doing? Do I need this
indexing?

Jeff

Tb keeps indexing information in a file named 'global-messages-db.sqlite'.
So these files are not a part of indexing. May be there is a bug in Tb's
import functionality.
Btw, if Outlook 2007, i find there are options to create saved search
folder like Tb.
Did you have such folders in OE6?

No I did not. I will just delete them.

Thanks.
