I apologize in advance if this is a repeat post. I scanned all back
posts I could get & did not find an answer.

I have currently Win XP Pro/SP3 and the latest version of Eudora. I
also have 10 email addresses over 2 domains. I have 2 domains to
separate the business I own and personal. The large number of email
accounts are due to business needs, family needs, and maintenance
email accounts for the domains I own.

Anyway, when I convert to Thunderbird, I would like to have the
features that I currently have in Eudora available in Thunderbird.

All Eudora email accounts are totally separate & stored in different
private data directories. This means that there is no co-mingling of
attachments, addressbooks, email files, etc - anything that the owner
of a particular email address might consider private.

I would like to be able to import everything from the 10 Eudora email
accounts into 10 separate email accounts in Thunderbird. This
includes all stored email, address books, attachments, etc.

I would like to know if this can be done. If it can, I would
appreciate any advice possible. Are any Thunderbird tutorials
available? If this can not be done, how close can I come when I make
the conversion?

it's possible.

i did the same  thing of yours 2 weeks ago.

thunderbird can store mails in different folders, but anyway you will have a folder "smart folder" with mingling.

in my experience the annoying is that the first time I checked mails I had to download all the stuff I had on the servers (i used the remove dupes addon to clear things up)

you can import filters.
i had to write myself the address books

in any case don't delete eudora, don't create thunderbird's profile folder in the Eudora's before sorting things up.

bye
