I'm running TB 2.0.0.23 on an XP computer and I also installed (but did
not set up) TB 3.

Can I just copy my TB 2 profile from its folder in XP to the TB 3
profile folder in W7, or will I be tempting fate?

Thanks.

Go for it. I do it all the time, no problems.

Let me be sure what you do all the time....

1) TB 2 profile to TB 3 profile?

2) Win XP to Win 7?

Thanks.

No. I did that on three computers so far. No problems.

Yes, exactly. Just the CONTENTS, of course, not the directory name.

Hi Pete,

I'm using the same profile for W2k, XP, & Win7 for FF & TB, as well as
the same program folder. But my data is on a drive D: and the programs
are all installed to drive E:. I install the program on each OS, and
direct the install path to E: on all of them. Being doing that with all
my programs for years.
