On your search results page from a Google search
click on preferences next to search box, then on new page change value
http://www.google.com/preferences

If you have "Customize Google" extension, you would also want
to change your options there as well.

Safe Search vs Safe Browsing they're pretty close in naming
you want Q's reply though, don't even remember those before.

Ahhhh ... that simple. Yes, thank you. I even understood those
settings when I first saw them, but for some reason now had decided I
would have to dig for a manual alt.config change.

Mille grazi.

Yes. I archive most all of my email - always have; and more and more
(and more!) now, I end up using the TB Header Tools extension as a quick
and dirty way to Edit the full source - remove the multipart headers and
then delete everything from the HTML part to the end. Only takes
seconds, but I do wish people would stop thinking they need to make
their email "look pretty" ...or contain a graphic for a signature.

The worst offenders are those that use Incredimail! :-(

What is safe storage?

I know of Safe Browsing and would not want to be a target of malware and
phishing attacks.

There are instructions on how to disable it in this article:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-does-phishing-and-malware-protection-work>.
If you need help with those instructions, just ask here and a community
member will try to help.
