Normally, when I save a page on HDD using "save page as" - the saving is
fine
BUT when I re-open that page from HDD after few months,
all internal links are referring to the saved page in my HDD. If I click
on them, it takes me nowhere!
All I want that when I save a web page, the first line within the web
page should be the URL that is being saved. Then I can always go back to
the appropriate web page without any trouble.
Any help?
Peter
Sounds like all you really want is a bookmark, but if you do want it
saved in a file on your machine you could create a shortcut, drag the
favicon (ie the little image to the left of the URL) onto your desktop
or a folder.
IMO, since Firefox is not a designed to be a site downloader, rewriting
the link within seems inappropriate - a bug to be reported?

"Saved from http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/

Saved by UnMHT Ver.5.4.0"
followed by the full web page with clickable links.
This solves all my requirements!
