Hello,
I have FF installed on 2 Windows XP computers.
On one, when I click on //callto hyperlink FF pops the window "Launch
application" allowing me to select the app I want to use.
On another computer FF does not pops up that window and callto is not
associated with any other programs.
How can I force FF to ask me which app I want to use?
Thanks,
Jack

In the Options > Applications window, select the filetype you want to be
asked about, and choose "Always ask".

In Options>Applications tab I see 2 columns:
Content Type and Action
My problem is related to Content Type.
I do not know how to add there anything, although I need to add callto.
I see mailto but not callto.

Start -> Control Panel -> Folder Options -> File Types -> URL:CallTo
Protocol

Highlight "URL:CallTo Protocol" and then click on Advanced to edit
particulars.

Suggest you take a look at the parameters on your working XP systems for
comparing relevent details.

In Windows, go to "Start Run" and type in the callto: URL.
Does it launch an application on both computers?

This will test whether the problem exists outside Firefox.
It may be that your second computer does not recognize
"callto" as being a URL protocol. This is something
normally configured by an installation program. It is
possible that Netmeeting or Skype (or whatever you have)
wasn't properly installed on the second computer.
