Need help with magnet protocol association

When I click on a magnet link I get the following alert:

Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol
(magnet) isn't associated with any program.

How do I fix this? I'm using Vuze for my client.

think you would get a better response at a linux group - looks like
magnet should be rolled into your kernel by hand and thus recognized
when called on but I can't say much beyond that.

take a look at http://public.lanl.gov/radiant/software/magnet.html
unless we're talking about a different magnet...

We are talking about a different magnet. Although that looks interesting
for monitoring a Linux kernel.

I want to associate a magnet link for a torrent so Firefox knows I want
to open it with a torrent client.
