Those links that provide stock price graphs are the same kind of links that
permit You to browse the web. The only way to stop them is to do extensive
blocking with an extension such as Adbock by treating them ad Ads. That
probably will also block up from ever going to any of the sites cited in
those links.

Thanks I've tried a few things but just really find it annoying to keep
getting these little things that block the text. This site wasn't
so bad but some ppo-up and you have to find the close X to get
rid of them.
and we are supposed to guess that there is a clue hidden in the subject title.
Not really anything to do with scrolling unless maybe you scroll one line at
a time and happen to pass the mouse over a link. Hovering over a link
of a company brings up a stock market chart for the day.
If you have Adblock Plus you can filter on
|http://media.ft.com/j/*
then if you do want to see the charts actually click on the link to see a full page chart.
