Hi,

My daughter was running Thunderbird with the Lightning extension
(version unknown but installed within the last 12 months). Her
Thunderbird profile became corrupted, so she saved her profile to
another location,deleted her profile,reinstalled Thunderbird, setup a
new profile and installed the Lightning 0.7 extension.

She has recovered her mailboxes from her saved profile using the
ImportExport Tools extension and is now wondering if is possible to
recover her calender data from her saved old profile files.

TIA,
Brian

Hello Brian,

by default the calendar data is stored in the database file
'storage.sdb' in the Thunderbird profile. If you copy this file from
the profile backup to the new profile it should work. If there are
already new events/task created in the new profile I recommend to
export each calendar to iCalendar format and import them after the
restore.

/Stefan
