Is there a way to have Lightning (0.7) read from and write to an
external calender file (eg in my documents, so not in the profile
folders) and to do the same thing for Sunbird 0.7, so I can always use
the same calender files in both programs? The idea would be to see all
the changes made while using Lightning, in Sunbird, next time I open it
(or the other way around).

Thanks

In Thunderbird (with Lightning) go to: File - New - Calender - On the
Network. Choose .ics and direct the path to a location on your computer
like this: File://C:/path/to/directory.ics. This will create the
calender on your computer.

In Sunbird, just choose File - Open calender file and direct it to the
file you made with Thunderbird.

That does the trick, but you have to do it this way (creating the file
with TB and opening it with SB), the other way around will not work
because TB does not have the option to "open calender file" (or maybe I
just missed it).
