Anyone use the FG Printers plugin? I find it great to keep organized but
the colours assigned to the categories only print intermittently. Prints
nicely early on and then it seems that as you get further through the
month or day, they stop printing.

FG Printers works fine for me.

Could you please give more details :
- the category colour is printed for some events but not printed for
some other events on the same printing ? (not sure that I understood
correctly ...)
- are you experimenting this problem in the Monthly view ?
- are you using the 'old colouring scheme ' ?
- Is there anything in the error console ?

Thanks Cedric. I'll try to be a bit clearer.

I generally use the monthly view to work with in Thunderbird. I print
using either the FG Time Sheet or the FG Monthly Grid. I'm not sure what
you mean by "old colouring scheme"

I have defined my own categories and have configured each category with
a certain colour.
So, for example, I have category A is yellow, category B is purple,
category C is light blue, category D is dark blue.

On Monday, I have yellow schedule for an all day event, red for 7:00am
to 8:00 am, yellow for 4:00 to 5:00, purple for 5:00 to 9:00 and light
blue from 5:45 to 6:45.

Yet when I print the weekly calendar, the yellow and the blue printed
fine that day but the red and purple didn't. Later in the week, Friday,
I have some red and blue activities scheduled and they print fine. The
purple never seems to print okay, the red is intermittent.

The following week, almost none of the category colours are printing
properly.

I wondered if the specific colour was wrong but changed purple to black
in the configuration and it still doesn't print.

If you ask enough questions, you find the answer yourself. I finally
realized that it was consistently the same categories that weren't
printing the correct colours. These categories contained special
characters; / ( ) -

Seem that those special characters were playing havoc with the colour
printing.
