Email-Send V2.05

I am in the process of installing Bugzilla on a Windows machine and I
found the Email-Send.ppd and got it installed but the Checksetup.pl is
looking for a newer version. I have v2.05 and it wants v2.18. I found
v2.18 but the upgrade command is not working and if I uninstall the
module then try and install I get the same version 2.05. I have
profile tracking turned off and I am not sure where to look to make
this work.

this is the right one. Use the "ppm repo up" on it until it's the
first in the list (this is not required with newer (GUI-based)
versions of ppm, where you can select the package directly).

Upgrading Email-Send didn't work for me either (the old version
stayed). I uninstalled it, then re-installed.

I did try that.

C:\bugzilla>ppm repo
Repositories:
[1] theory58S <--- ?
[2] activestate
[3] tcool
[ ] ActiveState Package Repository
[ ] ActiveState PPM2 Repository

Sorry, that was a type in the mail, I did type "ppm install Email-Send".
To be sure I just did it again and got the following.

C:\bugzilla>ppm install Email-Send
Note: Package 'Email-Send' is already installed.

ok, I'm stumped then. I've got Perl 5.8.8, but I don't know whether
that's relevant. There is a page around which has blacklisted versions
of Perl, Perl modules and MySQL. Maybe you're bitten by one of these.
Otherwise, it may be some strange permissions problem, but I'm really
poking around in the fog now.

When upgrading to a newer version does it keep all the modules or do I have
to reinstall them all once again?
